About the joinery
We have our own carpentry workshop where we can create customized solutions for all possible wishes and needs.
Today, we have five full-time employees in the joinery, who together have over 100 years of experience in manufacturing and installing bespoke solutions. All of our employees have previously been self-employed and have very high skills.
Our expert carpenters build, transport and install. This minimizes damage to the products and as a customer you can rest assured that we take responsibility all the way. Another advantage of building, transporting and installing ourselves is that it shortens installation time.
The joinery is located in Katowice, Poland, a historic manufacturing center. Many of our partners are located within 15 minutes of the joinery.
History
Partners Michal and Steve first came into contact in 2012, when Steve was looking for companies to build a kitchen for his apartment. After completing several private projects together, Michal and Steve entered into a partnership in 2016, working with both private individuals and companies. In the same year, Stiligt delivered its first projects. 2018 saw the launch of stiligtdesign.se. Fast forward to today (2023) and together they have designed, built and installed over 200 bespoke solutions.
Steve and Michal complement each other very well – Steve is the creative one and Michal is a do-er.

Steve
Few interior designers have a full understanding of the entire building process, how long a project will take or how much it will cost - but Steve does. With a wealth of experience in both construction and architecture, he has valuable knowledge when it comes to designing and planning projects. Steve's goal has always been to guide the customer and offer a complete solution. As a customer, you should be able to focus on choosing what you think is beautiful, and then sit back and let Steve handle the design and planning. The design and construction career started in 2009 with the purchase of a condominium. The renovation was done in my spare time. As the projects got bigger and the results got better, the renovations turned into a full-time job in 2013. A few years later, Steve started working as a carpenter doing construction, construction project management and design. During the years of running the construction company, Steve was responsible for all design and project management and clients had him as their sole point of contact. As projects and enquiries grew, Steve moved fully into design and project management in 2019. "Construction and architecture is my true passion. It is something that inspires me and drives me. To create something that others get to experience every day is a privilege."

Matilda
The latest addition to Stiligt is Mathilda Stålberg, who recently moved back to Sweden after many years abroad. "Interior design has always been a big interest and I've known for a long time that it's what I want to work with. I love experimenting and combining different materials and textures. I really lose track of time when I'm creating something." She likes it when design and function go hand in hand and there is often a lot of natural material involved when she adds her personal touch.
Mr. Peter
Peter has a solid knowledge in IT and marketing. Peter's great passion over the years has been to help both companies and entrepreneurs to develop. In addition to running a variety of businesses, he has been responsible for Silicon Vikings in Gothenburg and created mentoring programs for entrepreneurs.
Michal
While studying at university, Michal wanted to try working in his father Janush's carpentry business - would it really suit him? 15 years later, they are still working together, and several years ago Michal took over as owner of the company. Together with his father, he has built and installed hundreds of kitchens. If you ask Michal what he does in his spare time, you'll probably get the answer that he builds kitchens and wardrobes - work is his passion. "I love what I do and I will be doing this for the rest of my life".
Janush
Janush is one of the pillars of our joinery - without Janush, the joinery would not be what it is today. How many kitchens and wardrobes he has built and installed over the years is anyone's guess. The calmness and experience that Janush possesses works wonders in the joinery when the pressure is on. After a lifetime of working, the job is still his passion. The fact that he still works so hard and with such joy is proof of this. When Janush has a spare moment, he likes to get out his brushes or pencils and let his creativity flow.
Bobo
Bobo is a charming black Exotic cat with a unique personality and a special love of life. He loves to spend time by the window, fascinated by birds flying by, giving him a perfect view of the beauty and movement of nature. He is also a great admirer of interior design, making him as much part of the decor as the furniture itself. Being petted is one of Bobo's favorite pastimes. He enjoys it when people show him love and attention through gentle petting. Bobo is a gregarious soul who thrives on socializing. He is a loyal friend and will always be there to brighten your day with his company. On weekends, his favorite pastime is fine dining and he has a real fondness for tuna and prawns, which satisfy his demanding taste buds.
