Minimalist dark oak kitchen by the sea

Kitchen in dark stained oak veneer
Set on rugged cliffs just a short drive from the sea, this modernist house with concrete panels and concrete floors offers striking views through large glass windows. The kitchen, made of dark-stained oak veneer, has a stripped-down and elegant design.

"the kitchen lacks both plinths and ceiling connections, maximizing space and contributing to the minimalist look."

No plinths and roof connections for a minimalist look
A detail worth noting is that the kitchen lacks both plinths and ceiling connections, which maximizes the space and contributes to the minimalist look. Although stone is a beautiful, but cold and hard material, we have chosen to insert a warm wooden top at the location of the bar stools. The honed nero assoluto stone top gives the kitchen a robust and elegant character, while a recessed power outlet can be cleverly hidden when not in use. The mixer tap is from Vola, and both the doors and cover panels extend all the way down to the floor to reinforce the kitchen’s minimalist and cohesive aesthetic.

Pocket cabinets a convenient and stylish solution
Cabinets with pocket doors, which smoothly slide in and hide in compartments next to the cabinet, have become a popular and stylish solution in modern kitchens. This innovative design allows the contents to be easily hidden, giving a more organized and calm impression, perfect for social gatherings. When the doors are closed, you can enjoy a clean and harmonious kitchen, without visible kitchen utensils and gadgets disturbing the atmosphere.
This functionality offers a number of benefits. Firstly, it makes it easier to keep the kitchen tidy, saving time and reducing the stress of everyday life. You can easily choose to have the doors open to show off your stylish cookware or closed to create a more private and inviting environment when guests are visiting.
