Luxury kitchen with Greek marble countertop

Exclusive and luxurious kitchen in turn-of-the-century apartment

In this magnificent turn-of-the-century apartment in Vasastaden, Stockholm, we have created a kitchen that exceeds all expectations. The Greek marble stands as an icon of timeless elegance and sets the tone for the entire space. The apartment is planned down to the smallest detail, with elements such as impressive ceiling stucco, decorative moldings on the walls, herringbone parquet and mullioned windows. These classic elements blend with the sleek design of smooth walnut doors and rich marble, creating a harmonious balance between modern minimalism and classic luxury. Hidden speakers are built into the walls to maintain a clean and stylish look.

Style: Luxury stone and walnut kitchen
Hatch type: Walnut veneer and stone
Frames: Walnut laminate with finger-jointed solid walnut drawers
Grip solution: Handleless grip
Special solutions: The stone worktop and the rounded bench

Seamless Design and Hidden Storage

A work of art in itself, the kitchen island has been meticulously designed to allow for a seamless encounter between the walnut wood and the stone. The open storage facing the dining area is adorned by a carefully mitered frame that meets stone-edged doors, and when these are opened, the sensor-controlled lighting is activated, revealing further hidden storage solutions. On the other side of the kitchen island, the walnut doors harmonize with the beautifully patterned stone, and here too the lighting is integrated for dramatic effect.

luxury kitchen with Exclusive Design and Craftsmanship in Every Detail

In this kitchen, nothing is left to chance. The Miele oven is discreetly positioned to blend into the design, while the sensor-controlled drawers in solid walnut, with finger-jointed details, offer elegant and functional storage. The worktop is a study in precision, mitered and carved from a solid block of stone to create a seamless transition between surfaces.

The most eye-catching feature of this kitchen is the book-matched stone surface on the wall, arranged in an impressive zigzag pattern that reinforces the kitchen’s exclusivity. The Vola mixer tap, as well as the exclusive Lithoss electrical outlets, underline the meticulous attention to detail.

A curved seating area with soft leather upholstery and a wooden base, illuminated from the floor, located in front of a large window. On the windowsill, decorative objects such as a green plant in a white pot, a bowl and some candlesticks create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.

Elegant and Functional Bench

Under the mullioned windows is a rounded bench, upholstered in Italian leather, perfectly designed to sit or lie down comfortably. The window sills are made from the same stone used in the rest of the kitchen and have discreet holes to allow the heat from the hidden radiators to circulate. To maximize storage space, the bench has a drawer in the middle with a rounded door and two hidden compartments under the cushion, providing both practical solutions and preserving the kitchen’s stylish aesthetic.

integrated wine fridge

To the left is a rounded steel door from Stolt & Smide that leads to a full-height wine fridge with walnut-clad walls. The wine fridge itself is covered with walnut paneling to hide the frame and blend in with the elegant design of the kitchen. Above the wine fridge is a cabinet with double doors for extra storage. The plinth, also in walnut, has milled grooves for ventilation and maintains the sophisticated feel throughout.
