Time to spring clean your closet? We at Stiligt have seen in several projects that our customers with a good overview in the wardrobe have used the so-called KonMari method. This is something we are fascinated by and have recommended it to clients we work with. Let us explain this further.
How many times have you, like us, tried to pull a t-shirt out of the middle of the pile of clothes and ripped the rest in a hurry? Reviewing your garments combined with function and simplicity can be simplified with the KonMari method.
Each garment has a special KonMari folding that is gentle on the garment while allowing for a total overview of the wardrobe. The basic principle is that each garment should be folded as a package and the goal of the folding is to allow the garments to stand upright in the drawer. Instead of stacking on height, fold with a good overview and accessibility to take out the clothes you like.

This particular aspect of folding was something that we took to heart. One of the basics of the method is, as I said, that you should fold your garments and put them on edge. Then they take up less space, it looks nice and you find what you are looking for more easily.
She says that most clothes can be folded. Folding does not cause creases and wrinkles – if they are on edge! Fold them properly so that they are compact and place them side by side in a box.
