Grand Designs comes to Sweden
The British TV favorite Grand Designs gets a Swedish version! On November 12, Grand Designs Sweden will premiere, with architecture expert and award-winning critic Mark Isitt leading viewers through inspiring building projects.

Are you a fan of Grand Designs? Then you have something to look forward to! In the Swedish version Mark Isitt takes over the role of host from British Kevin McCloud. Mark Isitt, who received the Swedish Architects’ Critics’ Prize in 2018, has followed six houses over two years that offer both spectacular architecture and exciting design.

As in the original, construction projects face challenges such as budget problems, delays and site issues. But the end result is always something special.

– Behind the mud, financial overdrafts and unexpected obstacles, homes emerge that surpass viewers’ imagination,” says Mark Isitt.
