Fall 2025 is approaching, and with it comes a new season of the beloved show Grand Designs Sweden. Hosted by architecture critic Mark Isitt, the show continues to fascinate viewers with stories of people realizing their dream homes through unique, creative and often challenging building projects.
The Swedish version is based on the British show Grand Designs, hosted by Kevin McCloud. The original British series premiered in 1999 and aired its 22nd season as recently as 2024. The format has also been followed in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Finland.

What can we expect from the 2025 season?
Although the details of the upcoming season have not yet been made public, based on previous seasons we can expect.

Architectural diversity: The program has presented projects from different parts of Sweden in the past, giving a broad picture of the country’s architectural landscape.
When will Grand Designs Sweden 2025 be broadcast?
The exact premiere date for the 2025 season has not yet been announced. However, previous seasons have premiered in the fall,the first season premiered on November 16, 2020.
