Exclusive walk-in closet and international class bedroom
We’ve completed many unique projects, but it’s rare that we can say we wouldn’t have done something differently if it were up to us. Here, the client gave us a free hand, with a few important requests: no open storage solutions, dark doors and a design that harmonizes with the modern look of the house. In addition to furniture, we helped with lighting design, color scheme, curtains and an exclusive carpet.
From the living room you step into the walk-in closet and on to the bedroom through a smart and elegant floor plan. The back of the tall cabinets doubles as the headboard, creating an integrated and thoughtful whole. This is a project where the details really speak for themselves.
Style: Modern
NCS: Stained walnut and Fenix laminate
Hatch type: Smooth
Frames: Walnut veneer
Grip solution: Milled grip
Special solutions: Diagonal veneer, leather-covered worktop, double mirrors in mirror cabinet, floor-to-ceiling headboard.
Walk-in closet - a harmonious symphony of materials and design
The material choices are carefully selected in this one. Quarter-sawn walnut veneer is used throughout, stained dark to emphasize the natural grain of the wood, and light doors in Fenix laminate, model Gregorio.
For a real sex appeal of the exclusive walk in closet, the first thing you are greeted by is the bespoke island – a masterpiece in itself:
- The worktop has a 100 mm edge with straight outer corners for a sophisticated feel.
- Under the disk is a 30 mm drop that creates a stylish handle-less grip, a detail that is repeated in the design.
- The doors are positioned 30 mm from the floor to pick up the overall dimensions of the design and create an airy feel.
The top of the island is upholstered with the highest quality Italian luxury leather, beveled to create a geometric pattern that harmonizes with the walnut veneer. At the junction of the panels, illuminated glass panels are placed, creating a dramatic and elegant effect.

Tall cabinet in walnut veneer
The tall cabinets extend from floor to ceiling, side to side, with no visible mating pieces. The walnut veneer is laid in a herringbone pattern which, together with the upper doors, forms a diamond-shaped pattern.
- The doors have a milled handle for a minimalist finish
- Hinged doors allow for smart storage with pull-down clothes rails that maximize space
- Inside the cabinets, there is sensor-controlled lighting that is activated when opened.
The back of the tall cabinets is the mounting surface for the impressive headboard, which ties the walk-in closet and bedroom together into a whole.
Sophisticated details and dressing table
Behind the Fenix laminate doors are additional storage solutions with elegant drawers and clothes rails. In the center section we have created a built-in dressing table:
- Small drawers with diagonal walnut veneer
- A mirror with all-round lighting, which opens to reveal mirrored glass on both the back and the inside, allowing you to see yourself from all angles
- A bespoke stool, upholstered in the same Italian luxury leather as the island

The bedroom - a place of rest in international class
In the bedroom, one is immediately struck by the majestic headboard that stretches from floor to ceiling and side to side. To the left, additional cabinets in walnut veneer run with a carefully designed diagonal layout all to create that feeling of a truly exclusive walk in closet:
- The drawer cabinets have underside lighting to create a floating feel
- The central section is clad in diamond-shaped veneer, complemented by integrated LED lighting
- A glass top adorns one section of the cabinets and provides space for storing fine jewelry
Behind the folding doors on the far left is a TV with a fold-out stand – a functional solution that does not compromise on design.

The bedroom - a place of rest in international class
The bedside tables follow the same design language as the island and stool in the walk-in closet:
- An elegant leather inlay on the top
- Discreet lighting to highlight details and set the mood
This project is a celebration of meticulous craftsmanship and timeless design, where every material encounter and detail is thought through to create a perfect balance between function, aesthetics and modern elegance.
The renderings speak for themselves, but we can attest that the end result is even more beautiful in person.

Frequently asked questions
Here you will find answers to the most common questions when it comes to ordering from Stiligt.
Delivery time is normally 6-10 weeks.
To ensure the best possible quality, we currently carry out installations ourselves. However, we will soon be making it possible for customers to install their site constructions themselves.
Stiligt does not have its own construction craftsmen, but for work in and around Gothenburg we have a list of skilled craftsmen that we can recommend.
We want to offer affordable, completely unique and tailor-made solutions. That’s why we don’t use intermediaries, retailers or expensive showrooms. Instead, we work with 3D visualization where you can see how our solutions look in your home. However, we can accept booked meetings at our office in Gothenburg.
We carry out site visits throughout Europe. For a free quote, we ask our customers to first fill out a price request via the website, so that we can come back with an approximate price proposal. We can then make a home visit where we measure the rooms and go through material choices.
We are primarily active in Stockholm, Skåne and Västra Götaland counties. However, we are well placed to deliver to all of Europe given the factory’s location in Poland. For longer distances, we place higher demands on order value.
Our site-built solutions can have a variety of different designs and customizations – that’s what’s great about site-built! It also means that the price can vary greatly and is affected by, among other things, the choice of materials, size of the room, choice of cabinetry and any special solutions.
Payment of the down payment is made when placing the order no later than 6 weeks before delivery. The down payment is 50% of the carpentry (excluding installation and transport).
Our carpenters build, transport and install. This minimizes damage to the products and as a customer you can rest assured that we take responsibility all the way. Another advantage of building, transporting and installing ourselves is that it shortens the installation time.
According to the Consumer Sales Act, you have a 3-year warranty on doors and frames. Hinges and rails usually have a 10-20 year warranty, with some exceptions.
Since our products are specially ordered and unique for each customer, there is no right of withdrawal once the down payment has been paid.
We are happy to help with ordering appliances. We can supply more or less all brands on the market. If you prefer to order appliances yourself, you are responsible for ensuring that the appliances have the correct dimensions.
We are happy to help with ordering countertops. In the Gothenburg area, we primarily work with Kungälvs Natursten. In addition to a variety of natural stone types, we also have Dekton, Silestone and Technistone in our range.
Kitchen: about 4-7 days for frames.
Walk in closet: about 3-8 days.
A simple wardrobe: about 2 days.
