Walk-in closet with lots of storage

When you have a lot of clothes, it can be hard to find a place to store them. This closet with lots of storage is an example of how to neatly store all your clothes.

Here, the wish was clear from the customer where they wanted most of their clothes on clothes hangers. The advantage of hanging pants, sweaters and t-shirts is that it becomes more manageable while avoiding the mess in the box when lifting out the garment that is in the middle of a pile. With a ceiling height of 2.4m, a normally tall person can still reach a hanger that is placed near the ceiling. It will then be perfect with two bars and a drawer at the bottom where you can place shoes. In the corner we have built a section where you can hang long garments such as dresses and coats

Planning a walk-in closet for storage when you build a house gives you the opportunity to store all your clothes in one place. It’s also a great way to organize your clothes, so you can find them quickly when you need them. You can choose a walk-in wardrobe with lots of storage, but you are free to choose between different sizes and with different storage options according to your needs.

All wishes are fulfilled and there is room for both long and short hanging clothes, plenty of space in drawers and also open shelves that break off and highlight beautiful details.

Style: Modern
NCS: S2002-Y
Hatch type: Smooth
Frames: Lacquered MDF
Grip solution: Profile handle
Lighting: At the back with a strip in front

Everything is planned to the smallest detail

The frames of the walk-in closet are made of warm gray (NCS: S2002-Y) lacquered MDF and it has smooth fronts. Lacquered MDF provides a durable and elegant finish while offering a wide choice of colors.

In this project, the client wanted to match the color of the floor to create a more harmonious feel. No coincidence, but thought out to the smallest detail. The open design gives the walk-in closet a modern look.

Open sections are the most efficient storage, but they require a little more organization. Ideally if you want to achieve an exclusive feel.

In addition, it becomes a perfect place to display your beautiful accessories. Perhaps a watchwinder, hat or rolled up ties.

The skylight adds character to the walk-in closet, which despite the massive storage feels open and fresh.

Frequently asked questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about ordering a Platsbygg walk-in closet from Stiligt

The delivery time for a custom-built walk-in closet is typically 6–10 weeks.

To guarantee the best possible quality, we currently carry out installations ourselves. However, we will soon make it possible for customers to install their site buildings themselves.

Stiligt does not have its own construction tradespeople, but for projects in and around Gothenburg, we have a list of skilled tradespeople we can recommend.

We want to offer affordable, completely unique, and custom-made solutions. That’s why we don’t use middlemen, resellers, or expensive showrooms. Instead, we use 3D visualization so you can see what our solutions will look like in your home. However, we are available for scheduled appointments at our office in Gothenburg.

We carry out site visits throughout Europe. For a free quote, we ask our customers to first fill out a price request via the website, so that we can get back to you with an approximate quote. Then we can make a home visit where we measure the rooms and go through the choice of materials.

We operate primarily in Stockholm, Skåne, and Västra Götaland County. However, given the location of our factory in Poland, we are well-positioned to deliver throughout Europe. For longer distances, we have higher requirements regarding order value.

Our site-built solutions can have a variety of designs and customizations – that’s the beauty of site-built! This also means that the price can vary greatly and is affected by, among other things, the choice of material, the size of the room, the choice of cabinet fittings and any special solutions.

The down payment is due when the order is placed, no later than 6 weeks before delivery. The down payment is 50% of the cost of the woodwork (excluding installation and shipping).

Our cabinetmakers build, transport, and install. This minimizes damage to the products, and as a customer, you can rest assured that we take full responsibility every step of the way. Another advantage of handling the building, transport, and installation ourselves is that it shortens the installation time.

Under the Consumer Sales Act, you have a 3-year warranty on doors and frames. Hinges and tracks generally come with a 10- to 20-year warranty, with certain exceptions.

Since our products are custom-ordered and unique to each customer, there is no right of withdrawal once the deposit has been paid.

We’re happy to assist you with ordering a countertop. In the Gothenburg area, we primarily work with Kungälvs Natursten. In addition to a wide variety of natural stone, our selection also includes Dekton, Silestone, and Technistone.

Custom-built walk-in closet: approximately 3–8 days.
